Hey fellas, just got Halo 5 Forge on PC and was wondering if anyone has found a way to customize their spartan on the PC version.
You can customise your Spartan on Waypoint or console and it’ll carry over. Its not available on PC itself.
Had no idea you could do it in Waypoint. Thanks for the help

Been playing Forge on PC, I HOPE they add customization/ranks in, if not… idk how long I’ll play.

That’s great, but it’ll die real fast if there’s no character customization. I couldn’t care less about the “full game experience”. I’m very happy with how forge plays, 60fps 4k textures and all. I’m just gonna quit real soon if that doesn’t happen, among tons of other people
EDIT Not to mention, we cant use spartan powers unless we have xbox, we cant customize them, we can’t do anything but be scrubs forever…

It is free. What do you expect.

The bad news here is that it wasnt really meant for you then. The point of H5:F coming to pc is to provide a superior experience for forgers to make maps, not to directly expand halo to PC, hence why it’s free and all data crosses over between PC and Xbox
Even if you could you would just stick with the default armor because the PC version has no REQ packs. So you need the Xbox version to unlock these armors to begin with.

I should add that you can customise your Spartan here on Waypoint as well.
Is there a way to customize the extra part of your name, mine says: GRINNITCH - OJNI. On xbox i could change the last part, but can i change it here on pc or on waypoint?

Service tags can only be changed in-game I’m afraid, can’t be done on Waypoint or vis Forge for PC

What do you mean about spartan powers? If you are talking about spartan abilities then they are in already.

ya i think you should be able to customize your spartan in H5F. One reason is that they have it working in halo waypoint, not full customization but some. For 343 it should be easy to port it over since the customization system isn’t really complicate. Or they can just update the waypoint to be on par.

Halo 6 will be coming to pc so its one of those things that they need to set a good imprecation on the community before we invest. They will have a PC comunity after this if its done right. Like how Halo 1 is still soooo popular even when support was stoped.

Just to add purpose to this post, They also need to add the weapon skin customization to H5F too.

Thought you were agreeing with him. That’s all. And PC you can’t use spartan abilities at all, UNLESS you played on Xbox. That’s what I meant.

lolwut? Caps Lock is thruster pack, F is melee/ground pound, Shift is sprint, Left Ctrl is crouch/slide. Look at the key bindings dude.
