Does anyone know if in the future, Halo 5 will ever be put on the MCC?
Probably never going to happen. Halo 5 struggles with the messy UI, etc…on it it’s own. Plus I’m pretty confident if 343i tried to…it would just annoy most fans since a lot of fans hated/despised the loot box system plus the current MCC struggles with about 5 different engines as it is. It’s more likely Halo 5 would get a standalone game if it ever got fully ported but for now the closest thing to Halo 5 is Halo 5’s forge game on Windows Store.
The main goal of the MCC was to bring the older generation games on to the current gen console, hence the addition of ODST and Reach after launch.
Halo 5 is already on Xbox One, so there would be no reason to add it to the MCC.

I think the point OP probably meant is that some people just want their games bundled as much as possible. It’s possible OP could be talking about the PC version too since the MCC on Steam does not have Halo 5, there is no full port on PC.
To a degree I think Halo 5 could be ported to MCC but only as exclusive to the PC port, though as stated before MCC struggles with 5 different engines as it is so I wouldn’t recommend any further engines plus that sounds like too much needless work. They should just finish porting the rest of Halo 5’s game on PC as a full game since it’s kind of incomplete without campaign/warzone/matchmaking then release it as a full game with Windows store ‘Halo 5 forge’ then port to Steam with account linking similar to how MCC works on X1/PC. Plus seeing as Halo 5 population is practically dead in H5’s forge on PC I’m not sure it’s cost effective to spend time on bringing WZ/Matchmaking to PC.
Plus with the poor state of how cluttered Halo 5 is I doubt 343i would want to redesign Halo 5’s UI for the sake of bundling it with H5 so late into it’s life and because there main focus at the moment is improving MCC, porting it to PC at the same time while working on Infinite so there too busy.
Both are on game pass so I doubt we will see it included.
