Halo 5 on Halo The Master Cheif Collection

Will Halo 5 be on The Master Cheif Collection?

No

Why would it? I understand, it’s part of Chief’s journey, but we’re on the Xbox One, it takes four seconds to exit to dashboard and launch another game.

But now that you mention it, it will be really exciting with the backwards compatibility to play Halo Wars, Reach, CE, H2, ODST, H3, H4, & H5 all on the same console.

So it will? Because I’m getting a Xbox one soon

No, it’s not part of the MCC. But with the Xbox you’ll be able to switch from playing the MCC to Halo 5 pretty quickly. That’s what I meant. You’ll still have to buy both games.

I’d love if it was added to the MCC UI. Like once it is installed it shows up next to Halo 4 in the the menu. Maybe this could be added when Halo 6 comes out? So that the newest Halo game is by itself and the previous one is “retired”, in a way, to the MCC.

It probably won’t be.

MCC comes with Xbox One now, so you won’t have to pay for it. However, if you want Halo 5, you’ll have to pay for that.

It won’t be nor should anyone want it to be. MCC was so messed up for so long because they crammed five different games into one unified UI. Bonnie Ross even said recently they should have just shipped four separate games. So unless you want to introduce the potential for tons of networking and party stability problems, let’s keep H5 away from MCC.

I was thinking the same thing. Would be kinda cool to see.

I believe that it should not be added to it, it is already buggy enough and is loaded enough with the other games.
