What actual offline modes are left for Halo 5 now? They even confirmed no splitscreen now and there is no Firefight or Spartan Ops so how do you guys feel about this.

I enjoy offline halo since right now I don’t have internet but campaign is good enough for me.

I would hope that theatre mode works with campaign. It sucks that it didn’t in halo 4.

I don’t find hanging out with people fun so it wouldn’t be fun for me. I would just get pissed and quit because of other peoples stupidity.

I’m sorry for your loss.
Halo 4 had a severe lack of playable modes offline. In Halo 5, Warzone is the new playable mode alongside campaign, but it’s been confirmed on Halo Waypoint that Warzone is online multiplayer-only.
This leaves us with:
- Campaign - Forge (presumably) - Theater (presumably)
Love playing offline, as my family doesn’t have internet (or has it over their phones, or over satellite). Wish there were more options for off-line playing coming in H5.
I wish there was a bots mode, sometimes it’s fun just to shoot bots…
Also bring back split screen!!! If they do not want it online then restrict it like they do with some current playlists. We should still be able to play locally. When people come to my house we still do just a 4 player local game. They are fun.
I know there is just no offline mode besides campaign. Wtf what if I don’t have Xbox Live? I can’t do anything besides play campaign? If there’s not splitscreen they didn’t even put in an offline mode. No firefight, no splitscreen. This game is just made for online players. What about the other half of Halo fans? Where is your head 343?
With AI’s in Warzone, and therefore running on the multiplayer engine, I imagine it’s not a far stretch to think that there might be AI Spartans in customs now.
Plus, I remember reading something about some mode or another being playable on Xbox Live Silver.

of course time’s moving -Yoinking!- on, but interests & preferences stay.
Yeah, I really need/want a Firefight equivalent that can be played offline. Warzone can’t fill that role
