How cool would that be if there was a sequel to ODST this fall.

I’m down with that. Maybe have Buck involved some how. An old mission he was on as an ODST, something has come back to haunt him and the troop, and they have to get the team back together to see what is going on.

I would much rather have a Halo 5 Campaign following Blue Team. New missions and stuff.

I think they should release Halo 6 first and then release any ODST or spinoff game. Release Halo 5:ODST right after Halo Wars probably wouldn’t be a good strategy. If we do get any other ODST game it’ll probably be Halo 6:ODST

Maybe they’re going to release Halo 5 next, and Halo 5: Guardians is like Halo 3: ODST but in reverse order.

I honestly don’t get the subtitle to Halo 5. Was it really necessary?

Subtitle was most likely done as an effort to enter into a transition where they could have Halo games without numbers.

Yeah for me it doesnt matter when they release it as long as they make ODST 2 and have more Orbital drops in the game.

A direct sequel to ODST doesn’t really with Halo: New Blood which was essentially the sequel to ODST. [SPOILERS] Everyone is dead, evil or retired.[SPOILER END]

But I wouldn’t mind a spiritual successor to ODST, another game designed in the same vein as the original with the city warfare, squad combat, jazz music and stronger military aspect. Maybe they could set it in the attack on Sydney or another squad in New Mombasa, finding or hiding ONI or UEG secrets. That would be nice.
