Ive been very, very very very VERY sad since I saw the ODST armor in the beta. It just looks really… bad. My friend is also disappointed with it.
I was wondering if anyone else agrees and would want this changed?!
I used to love the odst helmet. The nightfall one is a bit of a joke, its not supposed to be a circle, an oval is appropriate. The helljumper helmet is a lot better though, its a good render of the odst. When I unlock it I’ll rock it.
I never really cared for the armor because it seems like a button. But now I can’t help but to see suspenders on the chest.

I assume you’re referring to the Nightfall armor? No, that’s not ODST, the Helljumper varient is more akin to the ODST armor, you know, Buck’s armor?

The armor you are referring to is called Nightfall. Halo 5 will also launch with Helljumper armor (Buck’s armor). Hopefully you like Helljumper more.

You sure it’s the ODST armor you were looking at? The Nightfall armor is similar in some ways, but I think Buck’s armor is the ‘real’ ODST armor

Yeah I remembered the beta armor of nightfall which looked really… bulky. I was thinking of which one was the set ODST or Nightfall lol.
Helljumpers is the closest to ODST. Can’t believe it’s a mythic. I’m never going to get the only helmet I care about.

Well it was nightfall armor so it might just be a different variant of the ODST armor such as we have seen marine armor fare from the CH252 Helmet to more advanced suits.

Halo 3 and reach had the best looking armor imo. I don’t know what bungie did but damn that armor looks so perfect. Idk maybe it’s the graphics. Halo 3 armor looks real compared to the halo 5 and 4 armor. Theirs just looks to matte color and kinda too clean looking.
Im totally agree, but its sad that there are more helmets in the same situation

Yeah, i agree with you.
I for one hate the nightfall armor but I do like the Helljumper armour.If you had the right colors you could probably still pull off the nightfall helmet or Helljumper helmet.
I actually like the Nightfall armour It looks a bit more practical with its smaller target visor. But I do also like the helljumper so it may be a decision of the moment.
How do you go about unlocking the helljumper helmet? Is it just a random item in the REQ packs?

Yep, that’s how you get the majority of your armor. I’m hoping I’ll get the Enforcer one day, but we will see.
Halo Nightfall is set a couple of years after Halo 3 and ODST so armors can change varying who makes the helmets and armor plus it may just be a different variant of the odst
