have you created an octagon map? instant spawn game type? anyone else? how can i get it form you if you have?

I have one, but it’s acting up. It should be in my shared pretty soon.

EDIT/UPDATE: I got the spawns working perfectly. You’ll see what I did there.

The spawns are strange. I’ve built everything the same as I did in other Halos. If someone in the match doesn’t respawn, stand against the wall. Not sure if it’s a glitch or not.

Apparently, the new spawn system hates spawning enemies within view of each other. Standing closer to the wall works, but this makes things difficult.

I added more spawns and spawn volumes. Slightly quicker to spawn but I think the spawns hate being too close or in view? Walking to the wall seems to work so maybe making it slightly bigger might help?

Walking to the wall seems to trigger spawn on that wall though. Seems like a spawn rule issue.

Might just coat the floor with respawn points.

That sounds about right. I think the new spawn system does try to prevent enemies from spawning within site of each other.

Is there any way to go into the script for respawn points and make them being in view not matter/always force respawn? I hear ppl are doing scripts to open and close doors and use lifts…

Personally, I’ve played it with a friend tonight and it felt AMAZING. The gametype/map is located on his fileshare.
