I know the update went live today, however when I start halo 5 I don’t get any prompt to update the game just loads like it normally would. I have tried restarting my console several times and have even completely switched it off for about 10 mins then turned it on and tried but nothing seems to work. The xbox is connected to the internet and the connection works. Do you have any suggestions of what I can do to get the update?
Are you sure it isn’t downloaded already? Can you search for matches?
My Xbox downloads updates without me prompting. Yours might too.
As soon as I tried to get into Halo 5 it game me an option to kick off the update, now moving along at 36%.
My guess would be you have it set to auto update or something

I totally forgot about that feature, I went into custom match to see if I had that new map Tyrant and I do, so I guess that means I do have the update. Thanks for the help, much appreciated

51 minutes into it and I’m at 70% so far on the download/updating.
