Halo 5 on my halo 5 edition xbox won’t start up after factory resetting
What do you mean by “won’t start up”? Did you reinstall it? Is it a digital copy or a disk copy? What happens when you try to run Halo 5?
It’s a digital copy, it came with the xbox. A screen will pop up asking “Do you own this game or app?”

I’ve occasionally had the same problem with the disc version. Keep trying to boot it up, sometimes a game will take longer than usual to start up.

Are you signed in with the same account that originally redeemed the code for the digital game?
Also, why did you need to factory reset your console?
Honestly Xbox support would be more helpful to your issue, as they can look into some aspects of your account.
I find myself in the same situation, I have the disc and when I try to play halo 5 it gives me the “do you own this game or app” like bro it’s a disc, how can you ask me to sign in or if I own it? I’ve tried uninstalling it, I tried clearing my Xbox memory and keep games and apps and I’ve had no luck. This really sucks because I obviously enjoy playing Halo with my friends
