I can’t get this to install, and I have tried everything. Put the disc in the console and it starts to install than pops up and says installation stopped, moments later update pops up, I’ve tried clicking yes than leaving my console on for 12+ hours with no indication a update is being downloaded except for looking in the network history. When I delcine the update it just stays at installation stopped, if I restart it by clicking that it takes seconds to go back to stopped status.
I I have tried hard reboot with network cable unplugged, changing dns setting, and now factory reset. Console has no other issues and since factory reset I installed gta no problem. Oh and Microsoft resolution was to exchange game, which I did at GameStop and same issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I’ve only found one other person who has my exact same problems but no resolutions on his posts.
Have you tired installing the game offline then coming back online to download patch?
Yep, I deleted all files and removed the disc. Unplugged the network cable and hard reset the Xbox. It reacts the same way except it does prompt after the installation stopped for a halo update. Just stays at home screen installation stopped and if I manual start it, it goes for a few seconds than says installation stopped.

I am and i have the W10 core already, im not able to get this game installed, already replaced discs no difference…
Installation stopped, tryied offline, was on chat with MS support which was kind, but i thought im chating with a monkey…
caht with ms support was like
me: i have tryied offline install, reseting the console to defaults… with external hdd without…
ms support: you are so nice thank you for taking these steps… Now let try this… go offline…
facepalm, but i went with him/her all the processes, which i was recommended… all of those already done and also told to support in the begining…
by now i suspect its the preview program, cause i see other ppl playing it… but ive also found some article where the guy with same issue got his xbox replaced by seller… (which i dont understan, as he agreed with preview program…
so now im waiting to be removed, and after that if the game wont work, i will send it back claiming my money back…
