I just bought the game and there are no voices during the campaign while other sounds are still present. The first cut scene of the campaign played without issue (all sounds played including voices, music and sound effects) though after that cut scene no voices were present outside of cut scenes or during cut scenes. Subtitles are still available and display without issue.
I have tried some fixes suggested in other forums though none have resolved the issue.
I have tried:
- Changing the xbox language + console reset - supposed to prompt an update for halo 5 which includes the audio files required for voice
- Hard resetting the console
- Clearing xbox cache
- changing audio settings to uncompressed stereo
- Ensuring voice over was on
Check your MP voice chatter setting. It effects Campaign dialogue as well even though it does not say so.
