So guys I have noticed Halo 5 game play there is like lots of mess ups by bringing new abilities
most people now can defend themselves from grenade now which was not there in old Halo games make people frustrated now
Total new change of controls undermined many old Halo players and mlg player’s controller setup so they had to change everything about their set up which they were used to for past Halo games
Unfortunately less participation of vehicle cuz now everyone can run fast across the map
Aiming down sights which wasn’t required cuz halo’s reticle were anyways correct making Halo look like cod
5.most heated topic is h5 normal pistol it is able to outperform AR because of ads which is quite unnatural same like halo ce
So what’s your opinion do you think it’s correct whatever is going on now?
I like the old movements and “new” movements. I am a gamer, I can adapt. I don’t want the same game repackaged and sold to me as other franchises do. There should be enough Halo out there to please both style of game play but 343 has a problem making fully functional games. You can play both styles in H5 but their servers can be pretty wonky especially for over seas players. MCC is great but many gave up on it long ago and even if more were playing it the cross game playlist can be really frustrating. I have primarily been playing MCC lately but will probably return to H5, especially when we get regular FFA back.
The abilities are sometimes good sometimes bad my take on it is that some were good ideas and could really add onto the gameplay but people abuse them thruster is a perfect example I liked the idea of thruster it could help add a layer of skill to your strafe but instead people abuse it and when they’re one shot they thruster behind a corner which is annoying and a get out of jail free card. The ADS is not good and doesn’t belong unless it’s a sniper rifle or something we should not have it for AR or magnum. Sprint shouldn’t be in the game and Spartan charge should go. I’m in between with ground pound. Ground pound arena was fun and ground pound I’m fine with being in the game
Point 2 is largely moot because players can choose what control scheme works best for them, and there are control schemes which closely mimic classic controls.

Absolutely this. I play on Recon, which is essentially Halo 3 controls, coupled with disabling the auto-stabilizers.
I don’t mind at all. I can always adapt to different games. I play a lot of different games with different controls, so I just grown used to it. People will eventually get used to it. People will always find a way to get kills in each new game.
The new movements seem fine to me. They could definitely use some tweaking (specifically Spartan charge, it feels a little bit cheap and OP in my opinion), but other than that I don’t see any real reason to remove them. It certainly beats “being unique” by reverting to Halo 3 gameplay and selling it as a new game, which would honestly just piss people off even more.

Pistol beats AR. I hope this will be altered after HCS.
