Halo:Combat Evolved is called that because it changed the face of games to this day, it was not called Halo:Combat is the same as the other games, and that my friends is what i fear for Halo 5. The direction this game is going according to my thoughts on the beta, will be the same as the other fps games, and will not change. You can see from the abilities, to just the way you move, it will be the same. If 343i wants a successful game, and i know they do, because 343i likes money, they will have to think outside of the box instead of this crap pile I’ve been playing since 2008 when Halo 3 set the standard. Comment what you what new cool things you would like to see in Halo 5, it could be anything from being able to pick up mongooses and throw them at the enemy, to harpooning an enemy with the flag.
Also, the shields are way to low, 2 shots from a BR can take out a guy.

Why do ppl honestly think that halo is failing in the arms of 343? Halo 4 sold 10 million copies. Dbl that of reach and odst, a few million less than halo 3 and more than both halo CE and halo 2. I swear every body who claims they have been playing since halo CE thinks that automatically makes them more capable at development than 343.
I agree that the game isn’t innovating. H5 is a pretty generic shooter after playing it, and I honestly don’t see H5 being a relevant game 6 months after release. Theres too much overemphasis on the team aspect of the game. The gameplay also feels more chaotic in comparison to the older totles as well. Other halo games were team based, but there was also some individual aspect of each as well. Now there are little to no one on one fights, and you seem to just get teamshotted constantly. I think this has to do with the map designs, range of the weapons, and all the new mechanics tbh.
Never said i hate 343i, or Halo 4. Infact Halo 4 is my 2nd favorite Halo game. What i am saying that ive played this game before, and its not revolutionary like the other games. I just want some change for gods sake.

Same old shizer different look my friend…They added all the lights and colors and bells and whistles just to demean our intelligence, but in the end It’s the same old garbage from the same broken devs passed on from Bungie and their deceitful tactics…H2 is gone and and they will never remake the game better than that was…

PHANT0M LEGENS- I still think they can make a revolutioary game that makes Halo the game it used to be, they just have to change instead of the same garbage every CoD, and Battlefield have. I’m tierd of living in 2008 gaming, i what next gen. And i think 343i has the balls to pull it off, they just have to change.

343 are jsut a bunch of unoriginal mongoloids. Even look at these 2 ‘new’ maps, they are just slight altercations of the previous 2 maps which were already just remakes of previous halo maps. And yeah they just grabbed all the latest fps trends and put them into the game. 343 are a bunch of people who need to get their fist out of their -Yoink- and actually innovate their game so they can stop ruining a great franchise, even when they had the best 3 halos available to release on 1 disc they still fukked it up with bad matchmaking issues which still havent been resolved for the most part.

Two shot BR?? Damn cause a perfect kill medal is 4 shots. You must be playing with some modders if you can kill a person with two shots from a BR.
You know, reclaiming the throne doesn’t sound as appealing as it once did. For that to happen, halo would have to accomplish all that cod does but better, and as we know, that can’t happen because they’re so different. If halo becomes top shooter once more, it will be because it sold out, I would rather have a respectable population and a game that works the way halo is meant to, than a huge population and game that forsakes itself for the masses. Halo can’t be number one, and these days, number one is the laughing stock.

True, very true. I guess i used “reclaim the throne” to loosely. I just want a something new, something groundbreaking! Like Halo 3’s Sandtrap, i always have a blast on the map, because of the Elphants, a giant metal monster, on CTF.
All i see in Halo 5 is a quick shooter, and I don’t want that. Yes i have played the beta, yes i think its good, yes i like how they brought back skill based combat. But they didn’t try anything new, maybe because its a beta, but all i have seen so far is just another shooter to pick up, then put down a week or two later.
