The brute shot should get to come back because the brute plasma rifle got to come back
I don’t know if Guardians necessarily needs the Brute Shot, but its return would be a welcome suprise.

I disagree in that Halo 5 doesn’t need it. It might be nice to have, but it isn’t a necessity.

I’ve no doubt they’ll add it at some point.
With the release of Halo Wars 2 just around the corner, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Brute Shot returned in conjunction with the release of Halo Wars 2.
If that is the case, we could expect the Spiker, Mauler, and maybe even the Chainbreaker (Atriox’s hammer) to make an appearance.
I never really used it much, so I don’t care to see it return. Maybe the H2 version for some slick custom games where you can ricochet the projectiles.

The plasma caster is pretty much the H2 brute shot, seeing as the projectiles bounced off objects at an angle.
Personally I don’t have any special regard for the brute shot but I don’t care if it comes back either. The more updates the better.

That thing made an awesome niche. It knocked land vehicles around like a pinata and could clear rooms like it was nothing! Its main drawbacks were slow reloads andpoor range.
