Remember in Halo 3 ODST where we could play as ODSTS without helmets in Firefight? Yea… wouldn’t it be cool if it was possible in Halo 5’s multiplayer? Add to that and female faces and Halo 5 will be badass.So what do you think?

I’m gonna say no. It worked in ODST because ODST’s multiplayer was story character based, maybe for firefight where the characters head is based on voice
for multiplayer I think that would be dumb. firefight it would be cool especially if you could unlock characters and play as them and take of there helmets if you wanted, just like in ODST.

It’s different with the Spartans, they are supposed to be a vessel for us to immerse ourselves into the Halo Universe, in ODST you can’t take off Rookies helmet who exists for the same reason

Would be nice but did you not learn from Corbulo academy training and starship troopers, taking helmets off is never a good idea.

Actually, Lasky’s plan of taking off their helmets during training was what allowed Hastati Squad to win the game of CTF.

And not having a helmet on nearly got Sullivan killed during the Covenant invasion if it weren’t for John being there

OT: Personally I wouldn’t like that unless they let me customize the face of my Spartan or else it wouldn’t feel like he was mine.
You know, OP. That would be amazing. Even better, when our Spartans remove there helmets, our own faces would appear. All it needs is a picture or film recorded by the Kinect to paste it, but i think that would be way too complicated.
