So my Xbox Live Gold just ran out. As such, I’ve been forced into playing strictly campaign on Halo 5: Guardians.
While Halo 5: Guardians is more than just the singleplayer, the game doesn’t offer much for those looking to take a break from fragging people online. And once the servers are one day shut down, that only-fun-the-first-time singleplayer will be all that’s left.
I know what you’re saying: “But another Halo will be out by then!” And what if it’s the same way?
While I understand that I’m talking about the minority, you can’t deny that there are those of us who don’t want to only play multiplayer and believe it would be nice to have at least some sort of survival mode to fall back on.
So what are your thoughts? Should Halo 5 get, at the very least, an offline Firefight? Or is a five hour campaign with only a few interesting missions good enough? Let me know below and please help me out by asking 343i for more singleplayer content. Thank you.
Firefight would be cool for Halo 5, especially in the late game when you fight waves of Warden Eternals.
Also: why give Spartan ops a numbered season if there won’t be any more? Or why distinguish Halo 5 as Guardians if there aren’t any other Halo 5 titles? There should be more. And I want more Halo. 
They also need to make it so some of our account info is stored on the Xbox, like armor (maybe even reqs?) I know it’s mainly cosmetic but if I ever am forced to play offline I want my spartan to look good.
I agree with you, they should add a campaign dlc or something or for singleplayers
They announced Warzone Firefight, but no doubt it’s an online gametype, with multiple Spartans just wrecking havoc. I doubt it will be solo content, but we will have to wait and see.
I really enjoyed having Spartan Ops around, shame it’s not included in Halo 5, does leave the game with not much to do

No halo ever has had supplemental single player content, With the way the series is being run, I don’t see that changing now.

But I can see them adding something like Firefight / Spartan Ops with single player options under the Multiplayer menu. Honestly though, if they don’t, I just want them to make custom game options for campaign. Even if it was like a $10 buy I’d do it.

You can only do the legendary campaign so many times. But yeah, it is a lot longer…

Uhm? Halo 1-2-3-4 also had the ‘one time only’ enjoyment. Every Halo game has achievements for the campaign, after that the joy is gone to re-do the campaign. Reach and ODST had firefight, which might be considered solo play.

You serious? The original trilogy has plenty of levels that never grow old.
Or just a satisfying story mode.

it does get old when u complete it over a million times and teaching over a thousand people how To speed run the campaigns then there’s the legendary runs that I help people with daily. SO YES IT GETS FREAKING BORING!!!

Have MCC, same thing at higher difficulty isn’t enough for $80 (Canadian).
We need pure offline content, firefight, forge, and just for fun custom games (Bots maybe?) Sometimes I just walk around the maps to admire all the features and pretty designs.
I feel the same OP but “my live never runs out” guy doesn’t.
But devs see it as: one of these is a milk cow and the other wants a fully cooked meal. Going to get that milk.
