Halo 5 Needs Cooperative Vehicles

Halo 5 really does need some cooperative vehicles. All the vehicles in Halo 5 aside from the Warthog don’t require teamwork. A Scorpion and a Wraith have turrets on them yes but you could really go in and get kills by yourself with them pretty easily. Cooperative vehicles like the Falcon and the Prowler and the Covenant version of the Warthog in Halo 2(forgot its name)were great for multiplayer and you had to have smart teammates with you on them which encouraged more teamwork.

I think a good idea for a Cooperative vehicle in Halo 5 would be a Transport Wasp. It’d basically be a regular Wasp but without the chainguns and missile launchers. Instead it would have turrets for your teammates to operate. Same goes for whenever the Wasp gets variants like ONI and Hannibal where they’d have ONI and Hannibal Gauss Turrets for your teammates to use.

When 90% were -Yoinking!- about no UNSC air vehicle, 10% were -Yoinking!- about no air vehicle that could be used by two people or more.

While I do agree that Cooperative vehicles would be a great idea, your suggestion of a Wasp is…well I find it quite preposterous. I will go into greater detail if you wish me too, but I say just bring back the Falcon. Or (and I would love this, inconceivable as it may be) what about the party hog? Load up 4+ teammates with power weapons and bam! Some might say it would be overpowered… but it’s still just a warthog. One rocket, maybe two would do the trick. Perhaps bring in the prowler or spectre, as you mentioned, but they do need to return.

I agree completely. I loved how UNSC vehicles used to focus on the requirement of teamwork to use properly. The Falcon was very powerful, but it also meant using up 3 people to use effectively.

You can go into greater detail. The Transport Wasp was just an idea incase 343 never brought back the Falcon and I’d love it if they brought it back. Imagine an ONI and Hannibal variant of it.

As for the Party Warthog, that would be amazing. You could probably capture a middle base easily with it depending on how smart your teammates are and what weapons they have.

Ok. My main concern was they would need to change the overall size and shape of the hitbox, and slightly redesign the vehicle. While not overly hard or impossible, it would subtract from the developers time to give us something new. But if you were using it as a placeholder, then perfect!

Personally I say just bring back the hornet. And give it one variant: The Hawk. Imagine a Hawk in on Raid on Apex 7 or Urban…devastating.

This is why I wanted the Falcon instead of the Hornet or Wasp. UNSC vehicles should be cooperative, and until the Mantis they all were.

To be fair, the Scorpion never required teamwork. If you could use it, all the better. But it was a single person vehicle even as such.

Well there is the turret, and I’ve always seen it as unable to protect itself at close range, especially when compared to the Wraith and being able to splatter and escape. You need to cooperate in order to protect it. Maybe a stretch, but when compared to the Wraith I don’t really think that it is.

Team work… This would be great… IF PEOPLE USED THEIR MICS!!! I do miss the falcon though.
