Share Holders want money EVERY YEAR, and more of it from the companies they fund, they actually demand this or people lose their jobs. It is a contract for the investment.
It is simple to see putting out a sub par product to the masses will net MORE money regardless of the few refunds issued because REFUNDS are the minority in this equation.
The “commercial” games you see now have no creativity, too many parts removed from the games and sold as dlc, outsourcing products to save money for lower labor and employee costs which result in bonuses for employees, bugged out and broken from having to cut costs in testing and other things.
So No, I do not think there should be another Beta, there is no point as they already have projected sales figures in mind and know what is or isn’t worth the investment.
Anyway got an invite from someone to play a working game. Can’t say I blame them for how they do it but what can you do to change anything except not buy the product?

Really? i didn’t know that.
but that beside, i still feel that they NEED to run a second beta, setting teh first ebta so early DOES allow them to fix the big overeaching problems before they overcomited to em, a second beta would be very beneficial to fine tune it, and make sure, on launch day, we don’t have to worry about a day one patch (yuck) or game breaking gliches (ala TMCC) it would also allow a players a chance to check the changes they made from the first beta, and see if it does in fac tplay like a good solid iteration of haloness.
