Halo 5 - My opinion

Hey guys!
A couple of days ago I saw the Halo 5 gameplay. And I was hyped and scared at the same time. (ADS? Really ?) I was happy with most of the changes:
Thruster packs = A nice change, equal starting weapons = amazing, no drops=finally.

Most of the changes are good in my opinion. But the ADS/Smart scope made me sceptic. I was not sure what to think about it.
So I did my research and I could finally “accept” the smart scope. Yes I’m not happy with it beeing in the game but it isnt as bad as I thought it would be.
Unlike shooters like COD, your accuracy does not change when using the scope. So basically I could hipfire like always and nothing would change. The scope is kinda like a different animation for the zoom.
When I look at comments from gameplay videos there are tons of “hate-comments”. In my opinion all the hate Halo 5 is getting is unjustified. I think Halo4 was not good, but Halo 5 makes a pretty good impression.
Mind that Halo 5 is not finished yet and it is probably going to take over a year before its released. Also: Most of us haven’t played the beta yet (Including me)

When i first saw H5 it looked good to me got a real good feeling, mainly because this is the first halo since 3 to add arena style game mechanics. That and the abilities all come with a trade off and are unspammable.

The “ADS” had me worried until i learned its just the regular old Zoom with a paint job. (Apparently thats a hard concept for some)
Sprint however i knew id be back so i prepared myself for its map distructive ways but i can live with it. Needs a playlist and custom games option to disable it. Ill be lobbying for that once the beta begins.

Overall im hyped but not within reason for H5

While I appreciate your post and your thoughts, I fear a lot of users here will not.

Best of luck, but also know you are not alone with your optimism.

But seriosuly, people need to stop incorrectly calling it ADS when it is the Smart Scope. I can only wonder what 343 thinks every time someone incorrectly calls it ADS.
