Halo 5 must need hornets or falcons!

When Halo 4 came out i was very disappointed that hornets or even a falcon were not in the game. For Halo 5 i hope either one is in or even a new badass flying vehicle!
What do you guys think?

It would be nice to have human air vehicles return, however it isn’t exactly at the top of my priority list.

It brings more to matchmaking and custom games. Some people could have made some cool custom games

I think that battle in air would be a good addition to Halo 5 because of the awesomeness and that extra level of intense to the game.Being In war games or custom games being fired at from both the land and ground would make a great addition.

Hmm… land and ground… interesting. haha You mean land and air. haha

It’d be nice if they did bring either of them back in Halo 5. I don’t know why they took them out in Halo 4.

I see no reason to not have an air unit for the UNSC in matchmaking.

We need some kind of UNSC air vehicle outside of campaign, there was none in Halo 4 which was a huge bummer. Falcons, Hornets, and other vehicles from past Halo titles have made the games so much more enjoyable. Even the thought of piloting a Falcon with your friends on the turrets is enough to put a smile on your face.

I don’t understand why there weren’t any usable UNSC air vehicles in Halo 4. I really hope they bring back the Falcon.

How about pelicans in matchmaking :open_mouth:

Let me fix your title:

Hey we FINALLY got to fly one properly without Easter Eggs in Halo 4…hopefully Halo 5 will finally see their involvement in Multiplayer.

~ Duck.

Time constraints apparently. Some early images of Halo 4 showed Falcons flying in the background.

Halo 4 Falcon

Would love to see a flying vehicle in Halo 5: Guardians from the UNSC. BTB felt lacking without it.

No thanks

They need to bring back both the Hornet and the Falcon, along with a new UNSC flying vehicle.

Also a new flying Covenant vehicle.

I definitely want to see the Falcon return, it was a great example of how to create a unique ‘counterpart’ without becoming a functional clone.

I would also like to see it live up to the ‘warthog of the skies’ moniker with multiple variants in Forge(Default, transport(with pilot gun), and the OP variant with pilot and side gunners).

I’m torn between whether or not I want Falcons to return in Matchmaking. In Reach they had one glaring flaw:

  1. Teammate starts up Falcon.

  2. Other teammate knowingly stands on the propellers and dies.

  3. Their death is counted as a betrayal and can possibly boot the pilot, despite it not being the pilot’s fault.

If Falcons are brought back, I hope 343 can somehow fix that.

Also the grenade launcher falcon! Forgot about them!

lol thanks i knew it did not sound right

343 must open up the air space more. I feel like it has been restricted. Ex, Exile with Banshee has you doing low donuts compared to other games. So much crap in the way with Vortex. As if the maps having small vehicle lanes weren’t bad enough. if it weren’t for the Banshee’s agility, it would practically be a sitting duck, and the Falcon/Hornet would play even worse in Halo 4 (vehicle health already blows).

Hornets and Falcons are typically placed on maps with less focus on Infantry and more on Vehicle transportation.

I could see the Hornet/Falcon working pretty well with Longbow. The other maps, aside from maybe Daybreak, not so much.
