Hello, I would just like the opprotunity to say: where the HELL has a water level been. My favorite parts of Reach were wading into the water to stalk enemies, and jsumping out at them but THAT IS NOT ENOUGH! If the Chief can survive in SPACE with his helmet, he should be able to survive UNDERWATER!!! I also want 343 to give the Covenant enemies you face weaponry and outfits more sutable to their present location, (ie. SPACE). So if there was a water level, Jackals, Elites and Grunts with rebreathers. Next, there MUST be an icy/mountain/snow level in Halo 5. I don’t care how much it changes the story, it just HAS to be done. 343, you’re doing a hell of a job, no matter what people say, please, please keep it up.
Hell I just want clear water or some kind of VISR that makes things underwater easier to spot.
The water in past Halo games was so murky. Halo 2 had the most tolerable underwater experience (Great Journey ftw!) but even that was kind of murky.
Also, if they implement underwater combat, they need to fix the AI first. In Halo 3 and Reach, the AI cannot shoot at you if you’re underwater (even if you’re barely submerged), they can only throw grenades. They also do not respond to shots.
Halo 5 must haves:
Big Team Invasion and Dominion(Battlefield like playlists but with game loadouts and a Halo twist on it (Remember Reach))
Dual Perspective campaign with Arby and the Chief again like in 2 and with that comes at least a 13 mission campaign
Spartan Ops that is more focused on player driven story, more Reachlike, first person cutscenes, features you and your squad of friends, respond to orders instead of being talked at.
Return of Firefight(probably not nearly as hard as spartan ops could even just use campaign and mp levels)
Theatre that works across the board:
Here is the bulk with FORGE and Map Remakes:
Remake Forge World, A large Avalanche type map from 3, Impact, but as a moon and not a small broken asteroid, Large Quarry type map for forge(Quarry is the main dessert environment in the first half of spartan ops), Apex from spartan ops, Spire, Sandtrap, and of course Sandbox.
Those maps alone give us the possibility of making some amazing creations as both artwork and play areas.
Really, why weren’t all the weapons in past Halos not brought in here, the smgs, plasma rifle variants, spike rifle and a whole bunch of weapons from both 3 and Reach that were fun to use and added more variety to the sandbox.
Same goes for the vehicles:
Spectre
Revenant
Chopper
Prowler
Transport Hog(still really?)
Falcon(why? also have a variant with all the seats unlocked)
Hornet(we might see it in a map pack or update but as of this post it isn’t there)
The ELEPHANT, those were mobile bases and made for some interseting matches. They just have to be map specific and have a low object count.
This would sense considering they would be deployed on Halo’s and Shield World as a research base.
There should be more shade turret variants(2,3 and Reach variants specifically) just to have some aesthetic options
Culminating all of the things we find great about Halo in one title. Take 3-4 years for development at the very least between titles to implement these things. You have a working engine that you can already build off of which you can just update to better fit the ‘nextbox’ specs.
Must have for Halo 5… Bungie at the wheel.
Drivable Mammoth in campaign. Nuff said.
