Halo 5 went backwards in my opinion it needs Splitscreen multiplayer and be able to do Firefight splitscreen like the other Halo BASED GAMES Eg 1-4 and be able to design maps and modes without Xbox live gold this would make it better in my opinion my brother is good at these he can spend Days ifnot weeks to get the maps and modes just the way he wants and they are pretty good to play.
Thats a suggestion to think about
343 confirmed that split screen will be coming back with infinite over a year ago.
Yeah H5 took some steps backwards but it took some forward as well. Much like every Halo game we have gotten, some things where better some were worse. Infinite will be no different, surely it will have some good and bad changes.
Ya I agree no split screen on Halo 5 is a huge downfall if you take that away they should have added matchmaking. That’s why I went back to MCC it’s just an all around better experience and there’s always looking for group posts to do almost anything at anytime.

Correct but I recall them saying that all future Halo games would have split-screen.

Yeh they should…there’s a massive ‘request for split-screen’ thread that’s been going around from 4 to 5 and the ‘bring back elites’ threads so maybe there finally listening.

But I don’t have irl friends that come over anymore and game so split screen doesn’t bother me as much as some with brothers and sisters or people that do come over. But elites I’m 100% on for

I used to have 4 controllers in halo 2 and learn FFA spawns on maps like midship and lockout. I know it wouldn’t work on today’s games but it really helped me out back in the day so my nostalgic is there for me

Sort of same, had 2 controllers for Halo 1 and just use to destroy my family on splitscreen. 
Halo 2 I ended up playing more online than splitscreen but still was nice to have the option, can’t remember if I played other Halo games much in splitscreen after that…though I have had friends over for MCC sometimes, played a bit of Reach splitscreen. Didn’t even realise Halo 5 removed it till launch date since at the time was trying to avoid spoilers.

OH yeah I played way more online too. Got to 46 in slayer on my first account back then and 42 in snipers. Could of boosted to 50 and wish I would have at least once and then deranked back to 46 but it’s something that will stick with me forever I had well over 7000 games on halo 2
I agree that taking split screen is stupid but I find the multiplayer to be fun online, not warzone though.

not that i wouldnt enjoy split screen options, but this game came out 4 years ago…did you not hear about this until now?
