here’s what Halo 5 multiplayer needs.
-First of all make it more like halo 3 and reach
-NO CUSTOM CLASSES
-if there are then make it so you can only change the following:
Primary Weapon- br, dmr, assault rifle, and maybe the plasma rifle or carbine
Armor Ability- sprint, jetpack, bubble shield, maybe the hologram. Camo must be pick up only again, when halo 4 first came out in slayer id dominate with active camo, it was unfair.
-No perks or ordnance, you shouldn’t be rewarded a powerful weapon for doing what’s expected(killing/scoring points)
-Armor looks so stupid in 4, chief looks pretty cool but the multiplayer options suck. they look very clay-like and not tough and metal, keep some of the new designs, but simply make them look more badass and tough, return all the remade armor, such as the EVA, to how they looked in reach or 3. Bring back hyabusa and the badass ninja sword. so basically for armor make them look more like the older games
-more balanced gameplay, bring it back to needing skill to win, none of this cod -Yoink-
-more symmetrical maps like Valhalla or sandtrap for CTF and straight up BTB
-Make the mechanics and gameplay feel more balanced
so basically make it more like halo 3 but with some of the features introduced in reach. I know this may suck for 343 but if they want to make a great game and keep halo, one of the most revolutionary franchises ever, at the top then this is what should happen
keep in mind that we all viewed halo 4 from the gamer perspective but we never viewed from the developer’s perspective its easy to ask for things and say what we want in the next halo but developers have a limited budget, limited time, and also making sure the game isn’t to much for the console, remember halo 4 made the 360 go at its maximum limits
The 360 is also using laughably old hardware compared to the Xbox One and especially compared to modern PC’s, so it’s no surprise Halo 4 pushed it to its limits. I don’t think limits will be much of an issue with the Xbox One.
Developers do have a limited budget and limited time, but I don’t think anything he listed will be a setback in regard to that.
