Infinite’s going to focus on Chief and that’s awesome. And while it would be cool to play as our own custom character like in Reach, I wouldn’t want it any other way. But how cool would it be to see a cameo of our MP Spartan from Halo 5? They could be a side character. After all, the MP Spartans are on board Infinity for carrying out missions so it would fit.

That would be horrible, If I am playing Co-op with some pals, I don’t want to be Spartan Number 567 while my pal gets to play Chief (Now that he is an actual character).

That’s the kind of mentality that made Halo 5 get rid of Co op. If I’m playing with my brother or friends. I want them all feel like some epic character on the series. Yes I could be Chief, but then my friends would be a generic Spartan instead of Rtas Vadum or Arbiter, Maybe Buck or Blue Team.

I also saw an idea on the forums awhile back that suggested letting you play as your own custom spartan or other various heroes (arbiter and the other notable SOS, osiris, majestic, red team, noble) in the campaign once you complete your first playthrough that I thought was pretty interesting.

I don’t know I mean fair point. I guess I just never heard of anyone caring about being a particular character except in Halo 3 when I was 12 and we wanted to be the chief but not that badly. What Illusive Blue said might be better then so it’s the best of both worlds. A skull that once activated changes you to your multiplayer Spartan.
would be cool to have our MP spartans appear in the campaign, maybe in background of cutscene or a brief appearance in a mission. but I think it would have to be our Infinite MP spartans instead of from 5.
