I have played the whole game on legendary and not had any bugs then I get to the last mission at the part where you have to defend the monitor from waves of forerunners, And I kill all the forerunners and then nothing happens. I checked YouTube to see what’s meant to happen And I’ve reloaded the game to see if that would fix it but the same thing happens over and over. Any one else had this and is there a fix ?
Just happened to me. Im so annoyed
Figured out that there was a some forerunner stuck “inside” one of the lifts. Ours was north west from the entrance I think. Somehow my buddy killed it. I believe it’s body was showing through the map.
Damn, cheers for the heads up. This would annoy me to no end if it happened to me and I didn’t know how to fix it.

This exact problem I believe - no bad guys left at all, Exuberant puttering around the map examining its navel. Clearly 343 aren’t listening to the userbase by doing searches for the word “halo bug” online, because it hasn’t been fixed, yet its clearly a bug. I can’t shoot something I can’t see, and therefore I can’t finish the game. To say I’m annoyed at some halfwit developer that can’t put in code that checks that if a badguy doesn’t move at all for some significant period of time, then something is clearly wrong and just “kill” that badguy. This is a catch-all for any accidental “stuck” baddies of this ilk.
I guess I just won’t finish them game then, due to someone’s incompetence. Sometimes I’m just not sure why I bother with these things. It’s like soccer - if acting is a prerequisite to be a good soccer player, then don’t watch it (I don’t anymore). If some developer / dev manager can’t be bothered making a one-day code change to fix all future major “stuck” bugs like this, then why should I bother playing any future halo?
Get to the last mission only to find a knight stuck in a lift. Took me a long while but tracked him on radar and used the rocket launcher to kill him as a little piece of the knight protruded from the side. Finally killed him and move on but still a bad glitch…
My problem is that I get to Mission 8. Get to the stairs to the council chamber and then the game glitches and kicks me out to the xbox home screen. Is this a problem on their end or is there something wrong with my game?
I signed in just to say we’re in 2021 and this bug is still happening.
Just happened to me and the forerunner wasn’t showing in the radar, I had to locate it by the sound of the dialogue.
If any other lost soul comes here seeking for help: take your headphones, activate spatial sound (you can use the dolby atmos for headphones app) and scroll through the map until you hear the dialogue line. From there, walk a little around trying to figure out where it is.
In my case was in one of those 4 elevated protusion (I don’t how to call it but you understand me, the second floor platforms from where you can jump to the other side of the room) that there are in the room, I reached it from behind. Almost not visible, you will need to have keen eye to shot it.
