Thought I would address this as I don’t see many other people saying anything but “Bring infection back”
Does anyone actually know why Assault, Oddball and the likes of King of the Hill were left out of the game and why there is no talk of them being returned? These 3 gametypes are at the centre of Halo matchmaking and have been since the first game, so why remove them?! Halo 5 would be so much more interesting if there wasn’t just a terrible mix of Flag, Crappy Strongholds and Slayer. Don’t even get me started about Breakout… If I wanted to play CoD I’d go play CoD… keep it in it’s own playlist.
Does anyone have any information about this subject, for example: 343 making King of the hill or making an Objective playlist with gametypes like these…?

It’s scary how much like Destiny this game is. A game with an unacceptable amount of content being endlessly defended by a blindly loyal fanbase, with content slowly being leaked in like one of those gerbil water tank things.

It’s hysterical if that is what they’re planning lol. Master Chief Collection’s matchmaking ruined it for everyone and now they’re just cutting out key content…
Haven’t even heard what the January update entails yet lol… Probably be a recycled map with a new skin and slight structural changes. Few pointless REQs and some forge maps which will no doubt be awful. Wtf were they thinking with Entombed and Antifreeze… Absolutely awful. Make real content and real maps not maps we can make in your editor!

So far they’ve confirmed a Fathom remix (lol) and have basically said that we are going to be waiting even longer for gametypes to roll out.
The only good thing they’ve announced is that they are getting some community forge maps into matchmaking, which means we’ll finally have some decent maps to play on.

Hopefully these community maps will be 117x more balanced too.
