So recently cruising ebay for Halo stuff I came across these Halo challenge coins. Now I know a little bit about military challenge coins but never knew or heard of the ones made for Halo. They made MCC and H5 versions. They seem pretty rare and I bought one of each. Any one know anything about them? Where they given to recruiters or members of the military for any reason?
Never mind I finally found an article about them. They were in special editions games available only on military bases.
In the military they were given out to a select few for going above and beyond the call of duty… Recognition in doing a job well done… Things like that… I have quite a few of them given to me by various different Units over the years. The key is to always carry you challenge coin… Because you never know when you might be challenged by another… The true challenge coin is not given out to just anyone… But they are very cool… I will have to see what these halo coins look like… 
Im surprised I haven’t seen them if they were given out at military bases…

They probably only went out to a select few larger bases. They seem to be pretty rare or at least the people who have them probably won’t sell them. I paid $40 for each one of mine. I got the H5 and MCC coin. There is two more H5 coins listed on eBay but they want $100 each for them.

I would say there are going to be rare or legendary!! LOL. But its cool you got a couple. I don’t think you can go wrong having them. Over time there value will just go up! Good score really… I may need to get one.

Haha I doubt the value will go up. I don’t collect Halo stuff as an investment anyways. I thought they were cool.

Idk ive seen some crazy prices on this Halo stuff on ebay… But hey as long as you like the coin that’s all that matters!
