At a presentation earlier today at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas, Bonnie shared thoughts around what it means to be “Stewards of a Sci-Fi Universe.” During this talk she discussed some of the painful lessons learned by 343 in the wake of Halo 5, particularly around the removal of split-screen support in the title. Going forward, expect all future Halo FPS games to include split-screen functionality! This news, along with me previously ensuring that black undersuits are being accounted for, should make a lot of longtime fans very happy indeed.
Does this mean that 343 might add splitscreen as an update soon or is it just for future halo games? Lets hope the splitscreen comes to halo 5.

Splitscreen is not coming to halo 5, but it will be in all future halo titles.
Unfortunately, 343 have already confirmed that splitscreen will NOT be coming to Halo 5. The way they coded the game apparently doesn’t allow it. All they’ve confirmed with this announcement is that all future Halo titles will have splitscreen as a feature.
well if thats the case then i hope it actually works for future halo games but if they somehow just add it or use it as a big grand finale for halo 5 updates that would be awesome. But im guessing that you guys may be right.
