Just did an updated version and added the matchmaking lobby menu.
Overall I wanted to combine Halo 4 and Reach’s UI and UX. Halo Reach had one of the best UX’s (User Experience) for any game. Halo 4 on the other hand, was quite the let down, although it had some cool features.
This also incorporates some of the ideas I hope to see for Halo 5, such as competitive vs social, ranking system, and top 200.
I might get around to animating it some time and making a video so you guys can see what I have in mind. But first I will have to come up with the rest of the menus (which I might post here, depending on your feedback.)
Let me know what you guys think. Did I miss anything?

I don’t see why I need to change the title. You guys should know that we aren’t allowed to discuss leaked content on these forums, so why would you come here expecting actual leaked content?

I am sure users that support these forums daily would come into this thread expecting a leak so they could report it. I would’ve done that.
As for your menu. Looks good. I would suggest finding a way so the white text isn’t hard to read when it is overlaped with lights on the background.
Excellent job! Don’t know if you’ve changed the title or not. But still. Great overall job, though! No one can really use much detail since the news on the next Halo title has been few and far between. But you made due, and did great!

I did change the title, originally it said something like “Halo 5 Menu Leaked?”
I am thinking of maybe posting the sketch that I did in planning to get to this point. Would you guys want to see that?
Alright, finally got around to making a second version. Which I kinda regret doing it so late now considering there are a bunch of animated ones on youtube already but whatever.
Personally my favourite part is actually the ranks. I love how clean they look on the various colours. What is your favourite part?

Are you talking about that it seems a bit blurred/not super sharp? I didn’t use the highest quality settings for exporting it, if that’s what you were talking about.
Otherwise I am curious to what you mean by rough around the edges? haha

Thanks man. It depends on how you plan on animating it. However I have no idea when I will “complete” it, at least to the standard I have set for completion (post-game, start menu, main menu, campaign menus, theater & spectator mode menu). Otherwise I am potentially interested.

Thanks for the feedback man! It would actually be so unreal if I were to get hired just based on this. It is highly unlikely, but you never know, stranger things have happened.
Interesting take on the menu, I can’t say I am entirely against it, but it isn’t perfect either. Overall I do enjoy how sleek it looks, though.

Its already been changed once, I don’t think they care at this point. Plus its a halo 5 menu under community creations, so people should be smart enough to realize its a community creation.
About your feedback though, what would you change to make it more “perfect”? Granted these aren’t final drafts, but I am interested in hearing what you have to say.
All this feedback has gotten me excited to keep working on this project haha. I’ve done a partial update for tonight (still waiting for the rest of my files to upload to drive).
- So for now I have added the link to the theater page, but the custom game menu will be added later.
- Changed the background of the matchmaking and playlist pages, which I like a lot better.
- I’m also adding a second playlist page just to make sure I include the party data instead of saying the playlist is locked.
I like the background art but I’m not really digging that font. That’s just me though.
