Halo 5 mechanics and how halo 6 should change it

I have put thousands of hours into Halo 5. I have learned to be a very skilled halo 5 player. It had many elements to the gameplay that I loved. But the casual halo player needs to be put into account here. The original halo trilogy was always easy to learn but hard to master. The pace was not fast and over the top. Halo 5, especially in the arena maps are very fast. 343 focused too much on the professional gamers and their point of view on how halo should play and feel. After so much time invested, it is clear for me to tell that halo 5 has this sort of pinpoint accuracy with so many weapons such as the battle rifle and the magnum. Getting shot from across the map should not be a thing. And now that you can aim down sights with every weapon, it does not help. Now I think halo 4 was better in speeding up the game almost perfectly. The game was not too slow nor too fast. Halo 5 just allows very skilled players to be much more dominant than previous halo games, now that the weapons are pinpoint accurate, and they can run, thrust, jump, slide, and clamber all over the map before you even know what is happening. To fix some of these problems for halo 6, they need to make the maps larger. They need to reduce the range and accuracy for the main weapons such as BR and Magnum. Aiming down sights with weapons like the AR and even the energy sword is not needed. 343 needs to reduce the speed for sprint and thrust as well as slide. I feel like halo 6 should mix between halo 5 and halo 3. In halo 3, it was harder to land shots for the majority. Even most professional halo 3 players could not four shot people at a longer range with the BR. In halo 5, it was easier to land headshots, but maybe a little too easy, especially at range. It needs a good mixture. Even vehicles are a problem. Take the ghost for example. It is clear that the ghost is much more pinpoint accurate than previous halo installments. It is also harder to destroy them. These things, and much more should be accounted for in halo 6. It needs to go back to what made halo so accessible. Easy to learn but hard to master. Casual players should be able to pick up the game and play arena without having to worry about the pure dominance of skilled players. If these things are fixed, The majority will be pleased.

This “pinpoint accuracy” you’re referring to is the whole bunch of aim assist and bullet mag on every gun except the pistol.
