So i was just reading an another Halo 5 wishlist and the guy who posted that list had some pretty radical wishes, so I thought I would make my own, maybe not so radical wishlist.
And BTW keep in mind, that the Xbone is alot more powerful than Xbox 360.
Campaign
More vehicle levels- Less activatables- Bigger battles on ground and in space- Less of Chief taking care of everything (even though Chief was all alone on that desert in the teaser), maybe a co-op partner like Arbiter- Halo ring(s)
Multiplayer
More filtering options- Remove AA- Social and ranked playlists- Progression- and skill based ranking system (CSR), both showing up next to the player’s name in lobby and in menu- You can affect your CSR only in ranked playlists- No flinch (unzoom FTW), sprint can stay IMO (look at this poll > tinyurl.com/nv3h7rk)- No custom loadouts, they really break the balance of the game- No random or personal ordnance- Remove instant respawning- Fix or remove killcams- Bring back old gametypes like assault- Bring back the old flag- and ball/bomb mechanics- Put powerups on maps- Create better maps if possible and please don’t make a maps like Complex
Forge
4x the pieces and at least 2x the budget- Fix the magnets and add more magnet snap points on the pieces- Remove round corners and sides from blocks- More terrain like Island and Canyon from Forge World, where you can just add bases and some structure and you have a map- Adjustable time and maybe weather- Make pieces go together better (in Reach it was good and in Halo 4 it got bad)- Longer spawn time options than 180 seconds- Option to make objects disappear after a certain amount of time- Adjustable man cannon landing spot and angeled gravity lifts- Fix the random object shifting after the map has been saved if possible
Custom Games
More options- More percentage options
Miscellaneous
Bigger and flashier explosions- Bring back the pew pew sound for plasma pistol- Improve the magnum sound- Improve the Sniper sound and bring back that old design

You overdid it a bit by telling them to remove half the new features they added.
My list:
CAMPAIGN
-Less linear, much more open such as the Scarab battles from Halo 3. No rock corridors or canyon pathways pleasees little to hide the the linearity.
-More huge and epic battles like the Scarab in Halo 3 and space in Halo: Reach
-A bit longer (to me it felt as if the game was a mission too short)
-More enemy variants. This was one of my big issues with Halo 4. There was little enemy variety and most of the time you were fighting the same troops. Take the number of enemies in Halo 4 and double it (at least) with new and fresh troops and I will be happy. Like the Scarab.
-Did I mention the Scarab? More of that and maybe other huge enemies (such as the thing from the trailer). Sometimes, size matters.
-More contextual story telling. We shouldn’t have to guess what the Covenant are doing there and neither should we have to read the books.
PVP MULTIPLAYER
-A separation between the Competitive and Casual game modes. Competitive should be more in line with the original Halo games- no custom Loadouts (and IMO no Loadouts at all), more weapons on the map, no Personal Ordnance and hopefully no KillCam.
-Better, more interactive maps (doors, bridges, giant turbines and whatever else comes to mind- the maps need to be alive and they need to be much more interactable).
-The return of all the disappearing game modes is at the top of my list.
-Vehicles should be more powerful, not suicide machines.
FORGE
-Dynamic Lighting- On/Off. Unless the load times will disappear, make this happen or scrap the feature completely.
-Day/Night cycles would be cool, as would weather conditions.
-Terrain editing if possible (Far Cry has a good one), if not I would like a HUGE natural pallet and many varied spaces to build on. HUGE spaces.
-A budget limit most of us could never reach.
PVE MULTIPLAYER
-Please make sure Spartan Ops really doesn’t have a future before you ax it, I think it has a lot of potential, as do many others.
-If SpOps is kept, we want something new every week. We don’t care if you repeat the same environment numerous times as long as it’s in-episode. If we are shown the same set of maps every week we will be disappointed.
-If SpOps is scrapped, include Firefight.
-Firefight should be more in line with ODST’s survival mode than Reach’s arcade mode.
-Custom options should be available,but front and center- Firfefight should be about surviving endless waves of tough enemies with little ammo and weapons. It should not be about Jetpacking to the top of the map and sending an endless barage of rockets at a thousand little Grunts. The main Firefight playlists MUST NOT be Arcade playlists.
THEATER
-Allow us to film all game modes.
-Allow us to watch clips with friends.
GENERTAL
-More unique weapons. Lots of them.
-Many more vehicles, and look at Halo 3 for the vehicle direction. We want many types of vehicles each filling a specific purpose. There is so much possibility here and it would be a shame not to achieve it.
-The Spartan Laser should be a one hit kill or it should go away. I just felt the need to say this.
Well IMO less is more, and adding new stuff to halo is exactly what Halo 4 did and it failed.
I agree with most of the stuff you have on your list, but I don’t think, that interactive environments fit the arena style multiplayer of halo.
I think that vehicles in Halo 4 should be 9001 times stronger to fit in Halo 4, because in infinity big team slayer everyone will get a power weapon on sometime in the game, and just destroy vehicles with them. And don’t forget the plasma pistol and the 3 plasma grenades that you can spawn with. And what comes to active camo and ordnance reroll-specialization, those turn big team infinity slayer into a big power weapon camo camping fest. So I don’t think custom loadouts fit even in the casual style of play.
I don’t think that terrain editing should be part of forge, because the idea of forge is to be simple and user friendly.
And what comes to the massive amounts of unique weapons and enemies, It’s not very easy to come up with those things. So it would take forever to create those weapons and enemies.
