Since nobody really knows what the reward for it will be in Infinite, it’s hard to say. But if obtaining max rank or 100% multiplayer completion is something that you find satisfying, go for it.
I would say that it depends on how much you enjoy the game. If you enjoy the game enough, then it’s probably an accomplishment worth completing.

Yep that’s the thing, I want the reward but I don’t also feel like playing for 2-3 months.

Then, you need to take the decision if it’s worth getting a possible reward (Mantle Emblem in Halo 5) compared to the required time investment.
Is it worth grinding H5 just for the reward in Infinite? No. If that’s why you’re doing it, there’s likely no reward that would make it feel worth it.
Only grind H5 if you actually enjoy playing H5.

The main issue to grind to SR152 in Halo 5 with the sole purpose of unlocking a possible but none confirmed reward in Halo Infinite is that there is a relatively likely possibility that no such reward exists (and all the time spend to reach SR152 got wasted).

They have confirmed there will be some reward in Infinite, but it will likely be small and not worth grinding for solely.
If you like playing the game enough, 152 and any rewards are part of the journey, I would definitely not grind just for some possible small reward.
Personally I wouldn’t go for it, since it’s such a grind. But like what everyone else is saying, if you enjoy it go for it.
As much as I enjoy playing Halo 5: Guardians, I am actually doing the grind because of the reward in Halo: Infinite, no matter how small it is. And the fact that it’d be my second Halo game where I achieved the highest rank.

Yes to give yourself a sense of accomplishment and No because the reward sucks. I dislike it.

I wouldn’t do it. You’ll get burned out and sick of the game. The reward is nothing special in all likelihood. The grind is too much I think at this point.
the grind is probably not worth it unless you only play halo 5 and dont see spending the time as a waste. the reward is probably going to be an emblem or something small so grind for yourself not so much the reward for infinite
