Halo 5 Matchmaking: Objective Gametypes

I’ve been playing Halo 5, and it’s an amazing game. The dedicated servers are really good here in South America (which is a huge positive, considering that I had some problems with this in Reach and Halo 3), the spartan abilities and, in general, the game mechanics, are also great. However, there’s one thing that bothers me. There are only 2 objective gametypes in arena: Strongholds and CTF (Breakout is merely a variation of CTF). What happened to Oddball, King of the Hill, Headhunter, Stockpile and Assault? When I first got into the game, I thought that I would at the very least be able to play Assault in matchmaking, but it’s limited to custom games. Why is that? Aren’t these gamemodes considered as technical enough for the eSports scene? Come on, even Halo 4 had mode gametypes to offer, such as Dominion and Extraction. I’m not saying that CTF and Strongholds are bad experiences - far from that. They’re really good. The problem is that things just get a little stale after a while. I can see the problem of putting something like VIP or Headhunter in the ranked playlists, but there’s no excuse for not inserting them into BTB or a special social playlist.

Assault is there in matchmaking trust me as for the others, Oddball was never placed in the game when Assault came out so you can play it in customs. As for the others IDK why they haven’t been brought in. Sadly with the apparent new engine 343 states that they used, which of course is considered wrong, they are using a modified version of Halo’s original engine. So I don’t know why they couldn’t just have placed these things in the game to begin with without issue.

Seriously? In what playlist?
