hey it’s November 21 and when I try to join my friends for some halo 5 fun, we start hitting these halo 5 server issues. please fix asap
I’ve had MAJOR issues trying to get a game in multiplayer.
On Sunday, I tried to get a game from 10am onwards and only got to get matched at 5pm which is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Take all our $$$ for a tiny campaign and a multiplayer that you can’t use! I am so close to quitting Halo as this is happening on a daily basis, -Yoink-!!!
Lucky5hot where are you from?? i are from Mexico and i have the same problem and the technical support of xbox only says me : excuse me but the problem its for 343 industries and your internet company , and i look 343 never answer back of this problem
The game is pretty stable. I’ve played over 20 hours and I haven’t had any recurring issues.
I am pretty sure it is location based server issue.
I live in New Zealand, and had the same problem with Titanfall. But I could then choose to go on the US server, or any of the servers I wanted (because they game me the option), then I would get a game straight away.
But in Halo, I can’t choose, so I am stuck with this game I can’t F*%#ing play!
If 343 could sort this out, I would be a lot happier, and actually be able to play the game I have given them money for
well they fixed everything by Sunday the 22, and as for location/service provider ,well lets just say Colorado and my internet works perfectly, I joined the same friends on other games. I think the issue is always going to be (at least for me) when new games/content drop they are coding some of it into the server and with the new dedicated servers it means service interruption. same thing for championships. for those of you who have posted I hope your gaming gets better, and if you ever see me online I’m sorry for the headshot.

From release night until last week I logged a lot more hours and also had zero issues. Things went really bad over the weekend with getting backed out of matches in progress and the game going into campaign in its own. Could not get back into matchmaking without having to reset the game. No idea why it went south like that, my internet in the US is fine and no issues otherwise online with my console.
Played a few hours last night with no issue so hopefully its resolved but it does seen to have been game related with the its servers.

oh man sorry to hear that, most I can say is that 343i’s pro players aren’t on so matchmaking takes a hit priority wise.
