Halo 5 Matchmaking: Can't join a single match

Has anyone actually joined a game so far?

Everytime when I enter the Slayer playlist, I can find other players rather quickly (maybe 10 seconds).

Then it seems to be attempting to join the session but the screen justs starts flickering (what the f*ck?) and I get a message telling me that the request to join has timed out.

  • Why the f*ck is the screen flickering when it loads the session?- Why couldn’t I play one match of H5 so far even though I’m trying for 2 hours?

The codes have only started being sent out a couple of hours ago. I guess we just need to wait till more people have finished downloading it.

I just experienced this issue

Same issue here, it seems that the flickering only starts once a few players have been matched. After a short while of attempting to fill the final slot, the flickering begins before booting me back to the “Select a Playlist” screen.

EDIT: After quitting out of the beta, and then relaunching it from the dashboard. I attempted to find another match, and the flickering began to start before filling up the 8th spot witha player and then it ended. Then starting the game.
