Y’know that map that you always hate (coughcough antifreeze, torque coughcough) why doesn’t halo 5 have the same map voting tool as in mcc. Now with the comunity maps coughcough, that are significantly better than the ones 343 made coughcough* are out, people want to play them, not guillotine for the 100th time.
I dunno, my only memories of a voting system were people voting for the same two or three maps every single game. No thanks.
I’m with Skinny here, I rather not play the same three maps every game. Maybe a veto option though so we can get one more random roll.
Idk about map voting, like fatskinny said people will vote in the same maps over and over. Instead why not give people the option to stay in the same lobby with the people they just played with? Then these lobbies could potentially get a better variety of maps by tracking which maps have already been played.
Credit bbkdragoon on youtube for the idea of staying in lobbies. It just struck me that it could be useful for more than just staying with the same group of people.
yea voting seems like a good option but it’s the same maps over and over i think a veto option works well, where you veto the selection and play the next option
A veto option is what we need.
Maybe they can do what call of duty bo3 did where you can vote for the same map twice, but after that its grayed out so you can’t choose it over and over.

nope. we need server selection filter. voting sucks, veto sucks. it’s time to evolve, not devolve. it’s time for Battlefield Server Selection Filter to be put in Halo. it is superior in every way and everything else is inferior. Halo 5 will remain map rotation, they will not change mid game how maps are chosen. So halo 6 we will want server selection. it is one step forward to a brighter future. The End.

Because the same map gets picked every time. I’d rather just have the veto system back from halo 3.
agreed with everyone else, veto. Better than having to play antifreeze 3 times in a row and then every other game.
No way in hell I want the stupid voting system back.

First of all it sounds like you have a cold you may want to take it easy for a little bit and get well. Second I agree with the voting system but for a diff reason we played 5 btb games all on the same map just diff game types very very annoying. With a voting system you could make it where you could vote for a map but if it was played twice already it was vetoed out of the voting list just like it use to be it made it fun and you were not stuck in the same map over and over.
I was about to make this a topic. We need a voting system. Even if its just one map vs another. Or they could just turn down the frequency maps come up. About half my games are Assault on Torque. They wait a whole month to turn down the frequency of a map/gametype when its new. That is way too long as it ruins the experience of the game. For one week they should raise the frequency of a map and then turn it back to even.
No voting but veto would be okay.

Whats the difference? If a map comes up, you can veto it and get another random map?
I would really like the Halo 3 veto system. You only get the opportunity to veto once and take the risk that you could get stuck with something worse. I personally like BTB but prefer to play more big team slayer than objective games. If CTF on deadlock comes up I might want to veto, hoping to get slayer on Altar. But there’s always the risk that I’ll be stuck playing strongholds on antifreeze…
This way you don’t end up playing the same 3 maps over and over but there is at least some ability to change the game type/map and you are stuck with the consequences.

This 100% this. I’m okay with a Veto because the second map is still random. but not Voting.

I personally don’t really like veto, but its not as bad as voting.
I do recall being frustrated with voting in the past as people get there favorites (that aren’t my favorites) and then that’s all you wind up playing. Maybe just a single veto per match then. That would be acceptable.
I want Veto like in Halo 3. It was fair
