Hi im hoping halo 5 has some remade reach maps in it like boneyard. Reach is still very popular i cant tear myself away from it not even to play halo4.i really like hemorage to return along with spire. If the games features planet reach in it u expect that kind of thing actually i expect halo5 to come with remade maps from halo3 halo reach and halo 4 what else would you expect for the biggest halo game 2date.
Personally, I don’t want any reach maps in halo 5. However, I would like to see that large scale map design return to halo 5, because that’s what provided for such epic, epic vehicular and infantry battles.
If anything, I’d like to see reflection or hemorrhage return in some fashion.
I still can’t get over how freaking beautiful Reflection looks.
I’d prefer it if we knew how the gameplay was before we start asking for map remakes from previous games.
All you need to do is look at Reflection in Reach, it played nothing like it did in Halo 2 with Ivory Tower. The Jetpack alone ruined any sort of power positioning on the map.
I’m sure we can all agree that we want maps that work with Halo 5: Guardian’s gameplay.
I agree with Spire returning. However, a map should only return if it would work within the game. Just like Moa said above, Reflection didn’t work that well in Reach. Map remakes should be a very picky task.
Exile.
That would make me very happy.

I think the Ivory Tower Skin would look really good with the updated graphics tbh. Hemorrhage has been in every game yet in some fashion. I think it will be very likely that we see it again.
High Ground I would love more than anything else! Maybe everything could be scaled up just a little, with a different background/skybox
Forge world, no doubt.
This map made me a forger but I took a break with halo 4 because of the forge maps.
Maybe 343 can make some new sections on the map like a second Island.
And as bonus, the blood gulch canvas is included.

The chances of Reach appearing are very, very slim.
For the biggest Halo game to-date I would expect a large collection of brand new maps taking full advantage of the new hardware, abilities, mechanics, and gameplay features of the game.

I thought Relfection worked wonderfully in Reach… It was one of my favorite maps to play on… I’d like it. I’d also like countdown, sword base, battle creek, sandtrap, or avalanche.
I don’t mean to be rude, but most of the remakes requested in this thread are terrible ideas. Bungies focus on Invasion in Reach ruined the maps for BTB. Spire, Boneyard and Breakpoint all played terribly in Big Team because of huge underutilized spaces which worked in Invasion but not in free flowing gameplay.
I would like to see Anchor Nine, Countdown, Power House, a Standoff/Tempest hybrid, and Sand Trap or Relic. While I would welcome a new version of Forge World I don’t think an exact remake is a great idea.

Exactly. I wouldn’t mind a remake or two, but as long as it works with the new engine and mechanics. Also, no hemorrhage, we’ve played that map waaaaay too many times throughout the years…
I don’t actually want any remade maps on launch, because they get boring to play pretty quickly if they are voted for every match. One of the main reasons for it being nostalgia and other maps not being as fun as nostalgia maps.
But remake maps as DLC I’d like to have.

The Jetpack alone broke Reflection.

I second these.
I felt reflection was ok in Reach. However, I felt Ivory Tower was a bit better because it was actually made for Halo 2.
