Seriously, I have so many Mantis it’s ridiculous, but they go down so fast I never use them. I think that was the right move.
The increased armor won’t prevent people from a frontal hijack.
Unless they can’t be boarded from the front now, I’m not impressed.
Hopefully its enough to be worth while… I’ve been waiting to use my mantids

Didn’t realize it was a stomp attack. I thought it was just a little dance that was done right before you get boarded.

Progress 343!
I got boarded from the front yesterday as I was using the stomp attack. Until they remove boarding from the front this thing is utterly useless. A gungoose is honestly more useful than a mantis, and for the req level I’d take one over a mantis any day.
Being frail wasn’t the only thing stopping the Mantis from being effective… It’s also easy to board, has poor accuracy, and the chaingun overheats just to kill a single Spartan.
i only get 1 kill with that thing before it gets rekt. hopefully it wont die in 1 hit from a tank.
Anyone play with one yet to see the improvement?
I would rather of had increased turret cause it’s pretty weak
