So I was listing to music on Youtube today and a Halo 5 Follower ad came on; so I watched it. He stated that Halo 5 was going to be made in half the time of Halo 4. Personally I think Halo 4 launched way too soon and was basically in a beta stage. I think Halo 4 is right now finally ready to be called a “Game” but there is still a lot wrong with it. If Halo 5 is really being made in half the time, I don’t see how 343 is going to make a good game.
There is more people playing halo Reach right now than Halo 4 and a year ago we all were saying Halo reach was the worst Halo in the series.
I would rather have 343 take a few years to make a good game rather than pushing an average game every year. Anyone else feel the same?
If Halo 5 is just another average Halo game I’m going to be done with the franchise; and there is no point to pay for DLC because when you buy it you never get to play it in matchmaking.
How would Halo Follower know how long a game’s development is going to be? He isn’t an insider, don’t trust his word as the final say about ANYTHING Halo.
Yeah, HaloFollower is known for throwing around speculation as though it’s fact, I wouldn’t take anything he says/shows as factual unless it has some official sources backing it.
It’s also good to note that 343i consistently has over twice the number of employees they had throughout most of Halo 4’s early development.
During the first few years 343i had only a few people, they moved offices, people came and went, and they grew slowly. Only about half way through did they really start to get a lot of people and settle down in a place.
Yeah, like they said, don’t believe everything you here about ‘Halo 5 news’ unless it’s from Microsoft or 343 themselves.
I’m most definitely willing to wait longer if it means a better quality game. (Although the wait would probably kill me first.) I mean CoD (yep, here I go again) produces a ‘new’ game EVERY YEAR and it’s the same exact thing! And the graphics practically devolve in it! Maybe I’m too much of a fanboy, but Halo 4’s graphics are much, MUCH greater than Ghosts. But that’s just my opinion. I don’t want Halo to turn into that CoD or Assassin’s Creed franchise in which a new game in released year after year. A long wait is a good sign, but they do have a bunch more people working on it this time around…
Don’t listen to halofollower, just like everyone else said he just a speculator that makes himself sound like what is saying is fact. The only people I’m trusting is people from Microsoft and 343 only.
If I hear any news other then them I won’t believe no matter how good people say they are at info.
Halo Follower isn’t any different than people who post crazy ideas on the forums. He’s just trying to use it to stir up ads from youtube.
As other people have said, h4 had a lot of hiring going on throughout its process due to needing to make a AAA studio from scratch. It also sounds like they had a direction change from classic halo to what we got in h4 for some reason.
Stopped reading at “HaloFollower”. In the absence of actual news he’s resorted to spamming his channel with poorly-made clickbait. I recommend Wangtime, More Console, and/or Inside Xbox as better sources of Halo news.
HaloFollower also doesn’t like it when you prove him wrong in any of his videos. I must have given actual facts about things I knew he said wrong in about 7 or 8 of his videos, so he deleted the comments and blocked me on ALL his channels (if you didn’t know, he already made a channel for Halo 6 about 2 years ago, which is sad really).
