Halo 5 Machinima

Hello, i just wanted to advertise my friend’s first attempt at a Halo Machinima.
The Squad | Episode 1: Plan D (Halo 5 machinima) - YouTube.
The machinima video is a pilot and could become a potential series.
Also it would be extremely helpful if you could comment on any improvements or any ideas on comments section of the video.
Thanks!

Only thing that came to mind, add a little more to the head movements, as they speak. They do move a little, but easy to notice they are just randomly moving there heads up and down and out of sync, course that is just a minor and lazy problem to deal with.
And when they make those “expression” sounds, since we can’t see their faces, try to put more movement in them. Scene where one goes “Ohhhhh” have his head go up and slowly back down. To give that feel what he is saying. More action in what they are saying and talking.

-You could if not already. When you record have everyone say their lines and move there own heads, then have them record there lines again and send them to you, to edit in-
Lighting seems to be darkish to me, could just be my monitor but it looks dark inside the base.
For a Pilot episode, it fine to have them all just standing around talking, but still felt slow and not very “want to see next episode” feel. Felt more like a segment to a video of short machinimas, not a series.

Lazy link
I honestly enjoyed it, it’s pretty good for a pilot, but I do wish it was little more drawn out, like maybe 4-5 minutes long (like with an intro and outro).

I caught a glimpse of this prior to watching so I have to biasly agree that there’s very little distinct movement while talking, though it didn’t bother me.

The last thing I have to add is my own personal opinion but I’d have preferred if you had done it on either a less popular map or on a forged map. I feel that i have too many bad experiences on this map and it’s rather bland, though I liked the how it all took place indoors especially because I rarely pay attention to the interior.
