Hey everyone this is my first time joining a halo community and I hope all of you will like what I have to say. First, I love Halo! It’s been my favorite syfy story ever since the first Halo game came out in 2001. For a long time I have been designing and working on a Halo SMG airsoft gun. When Halo 5 first came out I saw the M20 SMG and knew that I could make it work. Its taken a long time to build it from the ground up but I have officially made a working replica of the Halo M20 SMG gun that is airsoft. The gun has an adjustable stock, removable magazine, interchangeable barrel, adjustable forward grip, removable rails, removable sites, and has a built in tracer unit for night time airsoft. There are still a few minor things that I’m touching up on but it’s good to go. I’m only making a limited amount of these guns but I would love to hear your opinion on how well this gun would sell?

Its taken me almost a year and a half to 3D design the gun and print it. I’ll upload some pictures of it once it’s out of the mold. I’m currently molding it so i can start casting it and making copies.
Sweeeeet! As an avid Halo fan and an avid airsoft player/collector/tech, I’d be super interested in getting my hands on one if you ever want to sell it or publish the design or something.
Which gearbox version are you planning to use in it? How are you handling the magazine feed/hopup system? (I’m assuming something similar to an existing P90 system, maybe?)

These pictures don’t serve the gun it’s full justice but the gun feels real when holding it. Also ignore the barrel. When I was printing the barrel for some odd reason the printer kept miss printing. You’re also correct on the P90 system. Works the exact same as the P90 because that’s where I pulled most of the parts from.

Thank you! It really did haha. I’ll soon order the other things I need to make the copies but hopefully I’ll have this gun posted on Etsy for sale soon. Ill also do custom paint jobs on the gun. The paint on the gun in the pictures is a primer that ran out half way through the painting process. That’s why he gun looks gray and green.
That’s cool, just don’t go waving it around like an idiot, don’t want to attract unwanted attention and all, but still really cool. Personally I’ve never played with airsoft guns before, but I’ve here it’s really fun.
Being an airsofter myself. I fully approve of the outcome! Just make sure you do a cerakote base paint. It’ll make sure everything doesn’t get messed up underneath.
You should try molding the interior to fit the gears instead of using a gearbox. Could give interesting results.
