Now Im not sure about you but lets take this scenario to lets say a build your own car sight. and they say you can pay an extra 40k for the limited edition and all it says is it gives you the limited edition interior but has no pictures and has no further details past that.
SO unless you find pics on the internet of it yoou would basically have to wait till this car is out to find out what it was, I dont know about you but i dont hand my money over for something im not sure of.
Lets analyze this further:
1:new digital content to enhance Spartan combat: This is as descriptive as can you guess whats behind door number 2, So we get told for 100 bucks we get something digital contentish that will enhance spartan combat,
That can mean so many things in game wise, like a new skin or a weapon with a new skin, to some reall unfair advantage to those who didnt go out and spend the extra money, which would really be bad for business because for a game thats claiming balance and fair starts the first thing your going to do before the games out is to offer an unfair advantage to others who pay extra. but we arent sure we havent gotten a straight answer. They may as well say you will be getting something that is new and looks cool… ok what is it … cant tell you buts its cool now gives us 100 of your dollars to ensure you get this really cool thing on day one hurry before its too late.

2:exclusive items wrapped in a uniquely designed steel book: This offers more description we now know we are getting a steel book, ok but the uniquely wrapped items well now we no its unique so we are back to hurry and gives us your money now to guarantee your getting the cool mystery stuff.
and if i do remember the last time there was unique items it was a picture of infinity some spartan armor layouts(because that had a point right) some freaking pages out of a dudes diary and like a match score sheet (woopy that stuff is probably lost now) from some match in war games. seriously does anyone still have those spartan armor schematics. no maybe if your into lets say collecting things or are that die hard of a fanboy that your willing to spend an extra 40 bucks for these things it so far doesn’t constitute logical reasons to spend the extra cash. Keep in mind there is probably going to be another season pass probably for the rest of the knightfall episodes if theres a second season and perhaps some maps and maybe exculisive weapon skins… which we all have seen becomes available for a much more marked down priced version of the game roughly a year or two later.
Heres my final verdict o the subject, unless i truly find out exactly what im getting, Limited Edition wont see my money and i may just say hmmm ill wait to see how the game does day one and maybe go a week or two later and pick up a use copy at a lower price and possibly get the season pass or maybe not i may buy it each on its own that way i can wait for each map release see if the additio of those maps bugs the game or is even worth playing and and pick and choose the ones i like. Because iv seen season pass maps mess wiht games something with the codes and updates for each map pack like ghost it messed with the custom games simulants difficulty settings at one point you could only play on veteran then only on recruit so yea who knows.
