Halo 5 Level Reset

i was playing halo 5 and i quit the game from the xbox one home and my level was reset to 1 when i was 35 about to be 36

i know im not the only one affected by the sudden level drop from the higher numbers like 35-50 all suddenly become level 1 and with all our req points reseting to 0 and our commendations turning to 0
and its hard on me because i spent a lot of money in the market place for gold req packs in the game and now everything for me in multiplayer was reset
