> You know when you sweat the campaign on Halo 5 and finally complete it on legendary and all we get rewarded with is a view of a halo ring and cortana humming or laughing or whatever… what if the ring Anders left the ark with was that ring, at the end of halo wars 2 we see the ring being ‘greeted’ by a guardian. This may appear obvious to some but I’ve only just beat it so yeah.

Unless a main plot point of Halo 6 is that Cortana wants to collect all 7 Halo rings to cement her hold on the galaxy, then the ring from Halo Wars 2 is the ring we see in the Legendary Ending.
