Halo 5 Legendary Ending

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I’ve read a lot of forums about Halo 5’s Legendary ending and people say it’s Guilty spark and such or it’s Cortana humming Guilty Spark’s voice etc.

I don’t understand how poeple did not hear that Cortana’s humming was actually “Olly Olly Oxen Free”. Remember when you play as Blue Team in the mission Reunion and then when you like activate switches and such the tune olly olly oxen free always plays. I know that Spartan II’s use it never knew that Cortana knew about it considering Spartan II’s only know it (and Halsey). But yeah if you listen carefully it really sounds like the olly olly oxen free tune.

Anyway, the ending for me was a bit dissapointing but I loved the Legendary ending. I hope Halo 6’s story is epic. Would love to see the flood back. What’s your opinion on the tune Cortana hums and what do you most want to see in Halo 6?

The song she is humming at the end is the same song playing during the Halsey intro cinematic at the beginning of halo 5.

Not sure how that ties into anything though.
