The ring was traveling through slipspace when it was stopped by a Guardian; but we see at the end of Halo 5: Guardians that there’s no Guardian overlooking the ring that activates. That can’t be, because the ring Anders was on was literally over the Ark’s forge before entering slipspace. So it can’t have been taken before entering the warp.

You bring up the corruption I’m a bit Rusty on my spark lore as far as orgin goes (bears books lost my interest a bit over time) I remember he is a created being using the mind of a human, chakkas I think… Do we know what caused his eventual corruption? Just time maybe? Cause Cortana is for all intents and

Haha I think it’s safe enough to stop using the spoilers feature. I was trying to be safe because I’ve gotten in trouble with my friends in the past for posting Game of Thrones spoilers for a season I figured everyone had already watched.

Shadow of Intent by Joseph Staten is very good. You can imagine how good the writing must be since he was basically the lead narrative guy for Halo 2. I think that’s the newest one I’ve read since I’m still going through some of the older ones.

I’ve never read any of the books (never hade the time). But I do get into the lore here and there alot anymore. I’m only 18, so reading time is dedicated to study time lol

YouTube Halo audio books. Your life will be changed. After my 4th copy of the fall of reach paperback feel apart I started buying the audio books as well. No regurts. But YouTube has them to. I will often play the game as I listen to the different books again to arouse my nostalgia
