Did anyone else throw countless hours into the legendary campaign just to finish it and not get a single piece of gear for doing it on the hardest difficulty? I know for one that I am pissed
I won’t even start it on legendary
With the poorly designed AI and the enemies dealing way too much damage its stupid to start it
and you don’t even get anything after beating it
Not to be a nay sayer, but isn’t just the enjoyment and challenge of it enough?
I played it on legendary my first time around, and yes it was tricky, but it forced you to play strategically and feel even more immersed in it. I loved it and didn’t even think of the possible multiplayer rewards.

I don’t care about that. The campaign isn’t even that difficult. What I care about is how dumb the entire story is and how awful the “ending” is. Unbelievable. Normally I don’t care about reviews at all but when I looked over them and the majority posted about how mediocre it and the ending were they weren’t joking.

Ahaha. Really? Enemies do too much damage? Go play Halo 2 where you die in 3 plasma hits. Jesus. You don’t need anything from beating it. You get achievements already.The fact that you need a piece of armor or something is a lame excuse for not being able to beat it
I did finish the campaign the second day. Around 1 hour per mission.

The story really wasn’t that bad. Halo 4 did have a better story though. If it was a bit more detailed then it would have been great but 343 are definitely leaving it for Halo 6. What I like about it is that it makes you think about what influence the Domain has had on Cortana, you might think this is an ‘AI is now evil’ cliché but I honestly think it is much more than that.
I thought there was some armor you get, the game was just glitched and wasn’t letting people unlock it yet after beating legendary? Anyway, you should enjoy the campaign just the way it is, special unlocks aren’t needed just for beating a key element of the game.
Solo legendary is pretty easy tbh.

I dont get why ppl want a reward for everything.
Playing Through it on Legendary Solo Now, its actually quite a Challenge, need to really use the environment cover/weapon caches. It is a lot of fun though, takes more thinking and well place shots, and the Environment/Graphics/Music make it one of my Favorite games to Date, just like most of the Other ones. One thing for sure is that I am not looking forward to Fighting the 3 Wardens on genesis
Expecting rewards has ruined your experience. I finished the game on legendary and felt good simply because it was a challenge.

I disagree. It did not “force” you to think strategically. I completed it quite quickly on legendary solo in around 10 or so hours (while searching for skulls and intel i might add), most friends took over 24 to do so. It is all about ammo, very little strategy to it. All i had to do was either sit back and shoot until every enemy died, or run past them entirely avoiding them. In the end, I did not even get the achievement for completing: Solo legendary, heroic, all skulls (these 4). However, at that point, i did not care as I wont be touching that campaign again.

Three wardens are not as difficult as you think. Go into the fight with a full scattershot, and give all of blue team incineration cannons (you should be doing that already though). Watch out for the turrets (they are the worst, kill them first with a precision weapon). Then get behind the wardens and put some scattershot hits into their back, while getting blue team to focus fire on another one.
Or you could skip it entirely

H5 is the easiest campaign i prob beat it in like 3 or 2 days
