Hey 343,
Sebastian, here from the UK.
I want my voice heard by YOU.
I have been a Halo fan since 2001.
The franchise, took a massive dip when Halo 4 was released. There were so many things that were changed in the game, you lost touch with why Halo was unique.
Campaign:
Halo 4; left so many of us with questions.
Every other Halo game answered everything through out the campaign.
Matchmaking:
Halo 4; costum games and Matchmaking were no longer the same.
The franchise was known for the way you played Matchmaking based on skill.
Halo 5 War zone is entirely based on people going to be purchasing weapons ect…

I want you to know that I have purchased the game HALO 5, if you lead to disappoint Halo will completely be ruined.

So many people stopped playing Halo after you took over, if this game fails to deliver we should all just pack it up and play call of duty.

For other people on this forum, these are my words and opinions.

Hate or like, but I would love to here your opinion.

Warzone is 1 game mode. Not the entire game.

While there may be balanced micro transactions in warzone, that certainly does not mean that it is pay to win. 343 balanced the REQ packs, not to mention that you don’t even need to buy anything to do well in the game.

First off, I can be a real stickler for grammar and spelling.

This is pretty blatantly untrue. All of the games have left mysteries and questions, some that have still not be answered! Besides, Halo 4 is the first game in the Reclaimer Saga, so don’t expect to learn everything right out of the gates.

Explain why they were “no longer the same”.

I would disagree. The franchise, games specifically, are known for their multiplayer in general (not just skill-based) and the campaign. Not even going to get into the books, comics, animations, movies/digital series, toys, et cetera…

Warzone is not based entirely around people “purchasing weapons”. It isn’t based around that at all. I suggest reading up on the REQ system. It isn’t some buy-to-win scenario, 343 industries has put a ton of work into making sure it stays balanced, fair, and fun. Additionally, what makes this a bad thing? Even if it was based on purchasing weapons, you can always just not play it. People have different tastes. If Halo 5 was a buffet, placing a salad bar in there wouldn’t ruin the business. It could however attract those who enjoy an alternative to what is normally served. If you don’t like salad, don’t go to the salad bar.

For someone who says “facts not trash talk” you sure are spouting a lot of trash.

Someone who is willing to leave and play Call of Duty based on their opinion of one game mode, an invalid and uninformed opinion at that, wasn’t an actual Halo fan to begin with.

And yeah you’re 100% right because that cliffhanger at the end of Halo 2 was definitely answering all the questions that were raised in the campaign. Oh and Cheif drifting off into space was surely an answered question in Halo 3.

But if they do… they would still be bound by the limitations of the REQ system to ensure it is fair and fun… not to mention some of the proceeds would go towards the prize pool of the Halo Championship Series… what a horrifying day it is. I hope no buys REQ packs ever!

What does it matter? It’s not going to effect gameplay since its all balanced, not to mention the money goes to the Esports.

Then they are just paying 343i for something they can get through regular gameplay, whilst funding the FREE DLC + a portion of proceeds goes to the HCS prizepool. So it’s a win/win situation.

That’s completely up to them and whoever is going to supply them the means to do so. Plus req packs aren’t just for weapons for warzone and warzone is not the only game type. 343i has made sure that the micro transactions will not make the game pay to win. If you’re so worried about the req pack watch the video with mister chief, he explains everything in a way even people that are dense will understand (not insulting you). Halo’s campaign always left some questions floating around. Halo 4 started the reclaimer saga as crisperstorm said. Starting that new saga we got to learn much more about the forerunners and there is still much more to be learned, there’s no point on shoving everything in your face so there’s no allure to the story. Halo 4’s story made me want to continue playing and look more into forerunners and what this new threat was, so this gave me a gateway into a massive amount of lore that I never knew about in the books.
