Halo 5 LASO

So, I just got round to finishing Halo 5 Legendary All Skulls On, and due to the inability to exploit the Iron Skull work-around (that you can use in every other game), I’d argue it was one of, if not, the hardest Halo LASO campaign to complete.

I was watching Mythic Tyrant’s guide for the last mission, and it had less than 1k views after 3 years - which makes me think hardly anyone has attempted this.

I was just curious to see if anyone else on here has completed Halo 5 LASO, or even just started / considered it?

After I beat MCC LASO & got all of the achievements me and my buddy went and did Halo 5 LASO too.

It’s been a while since we beat it now so my memory is a little hazy on specifics but I don’t remember it being too bad to be honest. Having AI teammates that infinitely spawn became quite used for getting revived and such.

Will say that Soliders with Lightrifles were a pain. They are pinpoint accurate and show no mercy. Felt very similar to Halo 2 Jackal Snipers at times.

Most of the Warden fights you can skip or cheese. You’re able to bring a vehicle over with some trickery and blast them from a distance in one fight & you’re able to completely skip the triple Warden fight too.

By the time we did Halo 5 LASO we had a lot of LASO experience under our belt so I guess that helped a lot with knowing how to deal with certain situations in combat.
Not the easiest LASO but certainly not the hardest.

I’ve always wanted to give it a go, but the lack of achievement isn’t giving me much motivation haha. I usually play in coop so I don’t think I would have the same issues as you, but it still won’t be easy.

I’ve completed all the LASOs except for Halo 5, can’t be bothered haha

Yeah, I would play H5 LASO if I can get some reward for that, like an emblem or weapon skin, even an achievement was enough.

While there isn’t an achievement or a skin, if you look at a player’s service record on WP, you will see the level of difficulty they have completed H5 on. For those who have completed it on LASO, you see the Legendary difficulty with 13 skulls around at the bottom. It’s really cool looking. Other than that, yeah, there’s really nothing.

Yep, I’ve completed it on SOLO and COOP. LOVED IT!
