Recently I Beat Halo 5 guardians on its hard difficulty, " Legendary ", after seeing the cutscenes and after credit cutscene, i was presented with the achievements of beating the game on legendary, when i seen i wasn’t reward any armor or req packs.
( Personally ) I don’t care for having fancy armor to show off, but in the end, That whole idea of play and buy your rewards, with in game currency or real world money is a bit to much, Beating the game on Legendary and having a piece of gear that you can’t buy, but you have to grind for is worth it and a feel good moment for yourself. This goes for any game out there with an reward system. . . I was fairly disappointed, Halo has always had a Legendary reward when soloing or beating the campaign with your buddies, Halo 4, you were presented the Mark IV armor with the Legendary visor, but Halo 5. . . Nothing but a gamerscore and bragging rights.

Now Im curious on what you think about this matter?
Rather you beat the game already and you feel cheated and outted an reward (s) or if you haven’t beat it on legendary and your here because you feel that their isn’t any point to beating now, you can just earn Chiefs armor or Lockes armor through buying req packs, in game money or real world money.
Tell me what you think, your opinion matters and can dictate if 343 Industries goes and Re adds and ingame reward.

Being a more… Casual? Achievement hunter (outside Halo titles) I certainly don’t mind the points, but I would of liked to get SOMETHING in-game for finishing it solo legendary (one of the first in the world *flex) Maybe the dauntless visor as an equivalent to H4? Or perhaps a stance? I’d say emblem, but they gutted that system so hard…
I would also have to agree with this since like you said all the other halo games you unlocked something normally for beating the game on legendary. Not just gamerscore most hardcore halo fans that have been playing since it first came out buy the game for the lure and campaign the multiplayer is nice, but no way of truly showing it off is such a shame.
The reward of armor isn’t needed. Since you can buy packs and get all the armors at some point. I think this is why they didn’t bother with adding in an armor bonus reward.
I’d rather see some special halo channel reward that went more into the story or showed a bigger tease to the halo 6 game. That to me would be way more exciting than just armor which I only see when I get killed.
you do unlock armor if you have the achievement for beating all mcc campaigns on legendary
you unlock the nightfall armor set from watching all the episodes of nightfall on halo channel
Halo 5 it self has no reward for completing the campaign on legendary. then why did i spent my time playing campaign. Should of just release the game with just multiplayer see how many people you piss off, when do the cuts to the game stop
Seeing as they gave us free armor just for playing the game I don’t care and honestly I don’t play on Legendary for the armor I do it for the achievement the armor was a bonus.
They could at least have given us a Visor like in Halo 4. The Legendary end cut scene and the achievement art are rewarding in their own ways, but it would be nice to have a little more.
I was honestly expecting armor and/or weapons skins for finishing the game, finishing it on legendary, finishing it legendary solo, and then a SLASO run. I remember back when you got the Hayabusa set on H3 for finishing Legendary.
I’m not mad or anything. Just was sorta hoping for something extra.
